Folks at OctoML would like to follow the model of recent TVM online meetups and propose a more compiler-focused online meeting. As in the past, the thinking is to host an open, online TVM meeting to give people a way to connect while working from home and interact in a higher bandwidth medium than here or Github issues. The hangout will follow the TVM meeting guidelines and adapt them to an online setting to the extent possible. Based on recent meetings, it seems that video recording may make some participants less eager to speak, so we will try out taking detailed minutes and posting them in a public document online immediately afterwards.
This meeting will focus on the upcoming Unified TVM IR with an overview discussion followed by parallel breakouts for the community to brainstorm on:
- what new compiler passes the Unified IR should enable
- how folks can port their existing passes to the new IR
- a “potpourri” breakout for discussing whatever TVM topics folks are interested in.

Looking forward to seeing folks at the Compilers Chat July 22 at 2:30pm PDT!
